Runtime pricing
Runtime charges $0.025 per active vCPU-hour and $0.0075 per reserved GiB-hour of memory, with no plan fee, 100 free hours to start and no card, which makes it 42% to 88% cheaper than fourteen other sandbox providers for an agent that spends most of its time waiting on a model.

Waiting means memory plus the default CPU floor of 50 millicores, a twentieth of a vCPU. Compute has no one-minute minimum, and memory is billed while compute runs. A GiB is 1,073,741,824 bytes. Reserved CPU, for code that needs every core all the time, bills each vCPU as if it were always busy.

Building an image is free. A paused sandbox or a snapshot is charged on the blocks it alone stores, and a volume on the full size you create it with. Each item's rate is fixed when you make it.

A new paid account runs 50 sandboxes at once until 7 days after its first top-up clears, or until $50 of paid use has settled, whichever comes first. The limits are a starting point, not a price tier; to run more, write to support with the numbers you need.
How you pay
Start on the free trial: 100 hours, no card. Then add credit by card at Usage & billing, any amount from $10 to $10,000, with no subscription. Read-only keys, a daily limit per key and maxCostMicros on a create cap what an agent can spend.
Questions
Is there a free tier?
Every new account gets 100 free sandbox hours with no card, up to eight sandboxes at once with 2 vCPUs and 4 GiB each. The trial also stores your first three images and your first 10 GiB of volumes free.
Is there a subscription or a minimum?
No. You prepay credit by card, any amount from $10 to $10,000, and usage is taken from it. There is no plan fee, no seat price and no commitment.
What happens when my credit runs out?
Your balance never goes below zero and you never owe money. Paused sandboxes and stored items are kept for seven days, and adding credit within those days starts them again with the unpaid days written off.
Why is an idle sandbox so cheap?
CPU is billed on what your code uses, above a floor of 50 millicores. A 2 vCPU, 4 GiB sandbox waiting on a model costs $0.03125 an hour, memory plus that floor; providers that bill every allocated vCPU charge for both CPUs the whole time.
Is network traffic charged?
No. Traffic in and out of a sandbox is included with no charge per GB, up to 500 GiB a day for a paid sandbox. A dedicated IPv4 address or a WireGuard tunnel costs $5 per 30-day month each.
Can I run more than the limits?
Yes. The limits are a starting point, not a price tier, and a create past one costs nothing. To run more, write to support with the numbers you need.
Is there credit for moving from another provider?
Yes. Moving from E2B, Daytona, Vercel Sandbox, Modal, Cloudflare or Fly, your first top-up is matched with credit, up to $100. Referring a company gets you both credit equal to its first top-up, up to $500 each.
