.NET programs run
Programs built on .NET 7 or later, such as dotnet, PowerShell and GitHub's Actions runner, no longer stop as they start with "File size limit exceeded". Commands in a sandbox had a file-size limit as large as its disk, and .NET sizes an in-memory file at 2 TiB to map its code twice. Commands now have no file-size limit, as on any Linux machine: a file still cannot hold more than the disk, but sparse files and in-memory files larger than it work. New sandboxes get this. See Sandbox environment.
