Runtime

Runtime changelog, 7 October 2026

What shipped in Runtime Cloud on 7 October 2026: every credit you add in your first 30 days is matched, up to $1,000 in total; your first top-up is matched, up to $1,000; runtime for Startups gives a startup pot; and one plural word names each product everywhere.

Every credit you add in your first 30 days is matched, up to $1,000 in total

The welcome match now covers each payment, not only the first: add $20 and then $500 and you get $520 more. Home, the billing page and runtime switch show how much of the $1,000 is used and left (welcome match).

Your first top-up is matched, up to $1,000

Every organization's first top-up made within 30 days of signing up is matched with credit, up to $1,000, with nothing to claim; Home and the billing page show the date it ends (welcome match). A referral now matches up to $1,000 on each side (referrals); the two never stack, and the larger applies.

Runtime for Startups gives a startup pot

An accepted startup gets 10,000 startup hours, each an hour of a 2 vCPU, 4 GB sandbox, given once and used within 12 months, with 100 GB of saved copies and 100 GB of volumes kept free each month for those 12 months, 8 image builds at once, 100 sandboxes at once (up to 1,000 on request), and every paid feature. The pot is used after each month's included usage and before credit. Apply at withruntime.com/startups.

One plural word names each product everywhere

/v1/sandboxes, runtime.sandboxes, runtime sandboxes and runtime_sandboxes, and the same for every product; from SDK 0.12.0, each product can also be imported alone, as withruntime/<product>. The old words keep working for 30 days, and each use warns with the new name (the API).

400 sandbox hours,every month.

Hours of a 1 GB sandbox, included free.
